Sorry, it seems that I wasn't clear. Shrink will display compression levels from 100% down to what ever % needed to fit the movie contents onto a DVD-5 disk.

Now let me explain what the compression number means, here are some examples:

100% displayed by shrink means No compression applied
90% displayed by shrink means 10% compression applied to the movie files
80% displayed by shrink means 20% compression applied to movie the movie files
70% displayed by shrink means 30% compression applied to movie the movie files

100% minus the percentage displayed by srink is the compression amount.

So the number (%) displayed by shrink represents how much of the original movie remains unaltered (for lack of a better word).

It is not 90% or higher it is lower. The lower percentage the more need for the enhancement. I never bother with anything higher than 80%.
