You are putting it into the correct folder right? Make a folder called UPDATE in the GAME folder that is within the PSP folder?
The folder structure should be something like this....
(memorystick)PSP->GAME->UPDATE->(UPDATE.PBP goes in this folder)

The update folder(inside psp folder/game/update) was there when i extract 2.71 downgraded... After I format the mem card,I copy all the files from 2.71 downgraded including psp folder to the root of the mem stick...And inside this update folder there are other file..they is suppose to be other file in update folder right??
And that is where I copy UPDATE.PBP file into!!So...should I make another update folder in the game folder...

Correct there should be another file or to already inside the UPDATE folder. No do not make another update folder, place the UPDATE.PBP into the already created UPDATE folder. If nothings working then it may be that the actual downgrader files aren't working. If after replacing the UPDATE.PBP it still doesn't work then format your memory stick and try again.

Your sure it doesnt say anything else on your motherboard? With the UMD drive facing you open the drive and tell me if it says anything on the left hand side.

There"s only IC600I on the left side...as shown in your pic..
On the right side there's nothing..No wording at all..
Tell you wat!!Why don't I try the download for TA-082..In case mine is that type of motherboard whitout the wording indicate.. But will it brick my psp if It is IC600I and not TA-082 motherboard??

Yep, thats what it is supposed to show/supposed to happen. Now with it saying your system version is "2.71 HEN-D" go to the Game menu and on your memory stick there should be a Update X.YZ run that and it will downgrade your PSP to firmware 1.5.

Well I'm out somethings majorly fuc**d up, and I can't figure out through these chat rooms. My advice format memorystick, go to google and search for "ultimate downgrader guide" (without the quotes) it is a psp.qj.net site. It has a ton of walkthroughs all of which should work for you.

Best of luck with your downgrading, its been tough so far but once you get to a OE firmware it is totally worth it.

lol dont panic and dont do ANYTHING ELSE!
look about on net for guides and ask about on here for things u could do...
u dont wanna be 1 of the 150,000 other ppl that bricked there psps by not reading the READ ME files... thats what they fukin for!
if u had custom firmware then who gives a toss just hold (R) trigger when turn psp on and run recovery and turn ya frown upsidedown! lol
if u didnt then thats what ya get for usin devhook lol.
(but on a serious note)
try psp-hacks.com forum as seen few links about bricked psp's and some can be fixed.
also if u didnt have custom firmware then send it to sony and get em to use the JIG BATTERY and cables and 28 days later your psp will be back with u!
========================
BUT AND ITS A BIG BUT!
========================
SONY WILL UN-BRICK YOUR PSP YES....
AND INSTALL NEWEST FIRMWARE (Currently 3.51) AND YOU CANT DOWNGRADE (At This Time) SO MEANS NO HOMEBREW / BACKUPS aka COPIES / DOWNLOADS lol

Replace the motherboard, also there is a modchip that can kinda unbrick a psp but the chip itself is about the same price as a new psp.

Actually I call up the shop where I bought my PSP and they could unbrick my PSP at $100 dollars including upgrade to the latest custom fW. They explain that the brick hav nothing to do with the motherboard..The motherboard is 100% fine!!It is the software inside that is corrupted and need to be reinstalled...But of course they won't tell me how it was reinstalled!! Guess I hav no choice but to sent to them after my pay day...!!!!
Will keep all of you update after it is unbrick...and if it was a success then we shoud know that the magic batt does not exist as mention...but rather a magic software....!!!!!!
