Hello Binkie,

I'm getting frustrated. It doesn't work and now I'm getting a diferent log error. This is what I'm getting now

I/O Error!

Device:[0:0:0] LITE-ON DVDRW SHM-165H6S HSOE (E:) (SCSI)

ScsiStatus: 0x02
Interpretation: Check Condition

CDB: 2A 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 20 00
Iterpretation: White (10) - Sectors: 0 - 31

Sense Are: 70 00 06 00 00 00 00 0A 00 00 00 00 28 00 00 00 00 00
Interpretation: Not ready To Ready Change - Medium May Have Changed

I did everything you told me and the only thing that I had trouble with was updating the firmware of the Lite-On DVD burner.
What am I doing wrong????????

Few questions for you:
What's changed pc wise since this problem started?

Have you tried other media?

How abut burning w/ the Sony - same problem?

What problems did you have updating the firmware?
