can anyone answear if the ps3 will play xvid with firmware 1.9

The PS3 currently can only play back MPEG 1 2 & 4 (H.264 Only) XVID is not currently a supported playback encoding.

@ALL

TVersity uses your computer to convert the existing XVID DIVX and other fourcc based codecs to MPEG 1 (or MPEG 2 if you fiddle with the settings) The PS3 can not (as of 1.9.2) play any MPEG4 based codec but h.264.
