I am "seriously" considering buying one from Memnock...but how come I don't get any sites when I google "buy preflashed 360"? Because of the raid by the feds, is there not one site still left? If so which one?

Are there any disadvatanges to buying a preflashed system? So you can't update the firmwire because you don't have the equipment? Will it be necessy to updated it in the future? Will the latest firmwire last you 1 to 2 years? Will it last forever? You can't put emulators and stuff on it right?

Whenever you get your system and are going to attempt to flash. I recommend using "textbooks" tutorial for flashing whatever drive you get.

Ok guys... sorry for the LONG LONG LONG elaspe time between my last post....but I didn't have the money and when I did I couldn't find a 360. I finally got paid and finally found a MS25 Samsung Core Drive. I finally got it together.
I am follow the video tutorial from xboxmods.net...the one with the guy in a red shirt and he shows you to take a samsung apart and then shows you how to flash it and then he puts oblivion in the very end. I followed everything so far on the video all the way until the part where you hook everything up and go into your bios and set the second boot option on your pc to your USB bootable flash drive so your pc will boot up in dos and you can flash it.
The problem is that even after setting my second boot option in bios on my pc to my USB flash drive...I hit F10 save and my pc reboots but it doesn't reboot into Dos as it should. I don't know what the problem is but I think it's my USB cruzer 4 gig flash drive. Customer Servicer at Best buy siad that all flash drives can be made bootable...so why isn't my working? Is it because it's 4 gigs? WTF!!!!! I was told that you can't buy a USB flash drive with the words "Bootable" on the mercandise itself.
I have a VIA 6241 card...the one that everyone recommands..bought it at newegg. I also ran the utily disk already to update the files for my Via 6241 card onto my pc. Yes. I ran the disk that came with the Via card already and got all those files onto my pc.
I am not a idiot and I have common sense. Yes. I am not a newbie or a some kid too. I am 23 years old and I am pretty sure I followed everything correctly with more than the average IQ follower as the video tutorial siad but My 360 still don't fu*king boot into Dos. WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am think about forgetting the USB option and go with the NFSD DOS boot disk option for flashing my drive.
I really need your guys help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Before I go insane and Jump off a bridge!!!!!!!!!

One thing best buy didnt bother to tell you is that not every computer will boot to a usb flash drive. You can accomplish flash by using the NTFS 4 DOS cd.

If your talking about the samsung kreon drive. If you have an onboard sata controller just hook the drive up there with your pc off and then boot up.
I have no clue what your talking about the 0800 disc for as that is used to disable firmguard when flashing your xbox 360 dvd fw.

Kazaa44 - how uncanny, you're posting in the same manner as Batista44 from this very thread. A coincidence, i very much doubt it.
Any more disguised profanities and you're gone, again...

I need some serious help please
Wow. You seemed pretty angery. you know, there are several guide out there, don't just read one and expect to know it right away, that goes for all beginners to the modding scene, modding isn't usually a plug 'n play thing and usually requires research, thinking, and understanding the concepts.
Now, by "firewire" I'm guessing you mean SATA, and the "chip" is the SATA pci card or the motherboard with SATA ports. Basically a chip is the card that holds the port used to connect the HD dvd drive.
