Should I buy the PS3 edition or Xbox edition?

I just wish the makers of these games stated what was there perferred consoles for that game.

In the past, games that came up on both consoles I would get the PS3 one right ahead, because I used an hdmi output (1080..), where my 360 was connected via a component cable only.

Now I bought an elite and both use hdmi, and both say they support 1080i and so, so I feel bad!!

for some reason I cancelled COD4 PS3 order and ordered the 360 version. As for future content I do not know, but I do know that the elite is 120GB, and the smaller hdd xbox can be upgraded, so why not add more content for the xbox fans eh?

Opinion.. maybe I'm wrong..

Welcome to the Ps3 community Bhetrick.
The Elite harddrive cant be upgraded any more and premium has a mx of 120gb, and i know alot of xbox owners switching to ps3 so maybe ps3 if for the future?
Getting COD4 is probably a good idea to go for xbox (onlien aspect) as it seems they dont care about ps3 (no demo and beta) but rumours are that the graphics are better on Ps3.
As for Assassins Creed the game was originaly a Ps3 exclusive so i would definately get it on Ps3 rather than xbox which is what im doing.
