Well I think it's a hit or miss thing,I have a buddy who does'nt own a orig game,yet he still is online to this day,he's made it threw first wave, and so far the second ,he has a hitachi not sure was firmware.I'm not banned either using xtreme 1.2 for hitachi 78.I play both online orig and backups,I was playing call of duty 4 backup when i found out about being banned.Here it is next day and i just checked and i'm still not banned.Also on a side note i flashed mine before it even took any kind of update,or even played a game.

i have a sammy running ixetreme 1.2B, play backups all day long on live and I am not banned yet. just been on with COD4 no problems for me.

I also have a Sammy with 1.2 firmware and I have not been banned (playing now) It appears 360's modified before accessing live have not been banned.

well mine is a launch day console that i used for a good 6months before modding. maybe its just down to luck as i also escaped the bans last time too, i even played the unstealthed crackdown onlive before the last bannings.:-)
lets hope my luck continues!!

i have a hitachi 47 with c4eva ixtereme 1.2, was playing rockband last nite, didnt seem that anything happened.
how many were effected? hundreds, thousands?

Here we go again, another 50 page ban thread. So yet again what i have been telling people for a while now comes to pass. They will ban when they want to and your wonderful new iXtreme firmware will make absolutly no difference.
And just like last time it is completely random. All different drives and all different firmwares being banned. Some day they may actually figure out what MS is detecting, but as for now i doubt anyone has a clue.

Benq w/ iXtreme multispeed. I can still play CoD4 Live with both the original and a backup.

does it make a difference if your using stealth patched games/firmware?
I just bought a new 360 and its getting flashed with latest firware 2moz before being sent out... slightly nervous =-(

Hi,
I think it might be the people who play games before their release date, are the ones who get banned, because i have an NME 1.2 in my x360 and im not banned ( I played COD 3 original today and no problems)
PS2 = Matrix Infinity (Green Dot)
Xbox 360 BenQ = ixtreme 1.6
Xbox 360 Lite On = Not working :(
Kreon SH-D163B = The Best thing out of them all :)

Well, I have a Hitachi 0078FK with iXtreme 1.3, and I have played only backups for the past 2 weeks, and I am fine. I might restore my original firmware though. We'll see.

ok i was online until 2am this mourning no ban
what should i do now? has the banning stop?

ok heres an update...
C4E ixtreme 1.2 on hitachi 47
note: i did play rockband last nite from 9:30PM EST until 1:07 AM EST
when i put in the game i did get a game update....did not seem to hurt anything.
sssoooo.......I had my GF do this for the sake of the future....
i popped in my network cable and got on live no issue....signed in....
popped in GOW-retail disc and went to play a online match.....was able to join and play. took out GOW, put in a backup of rockband i made which is fully stealth patched. and it worked fine. turned off console and back on re logged back on to XBL and was logged in fine. popped rockband back in and was able to play....
shes playing rockband now, but is unplugged from XBL, no ban yet....and hopefully never.....
this is my thesis on what is happening.....
if you ever played a backup that was not fully stealthed, and got away with it, xbl prob flagged you....then when the cesspool of flagged consoles....they just hammered down......yea ixtreme is supposed to stop that....BUT im guessing if you played a backup without the retail game 1st they could flag u....but this is just a thesis of what I think and has nothing to do with anything at all just my 2cents

At least I dont have to worry about this, dialup says no xbox live for you! That and I dont have my drive modified yet, just got the machine yesterday and I am still a noob and trying to read up on what I need to do. Although I did buy a kreon drive a few moments ago.

Its not the firmware BANS CONFIRMED! : the fw is doing it's job, it appears to be caused by the (bad) backups | Live Log www.xbins.org'
It boils down to bad copies and people using scene releases that are bad!

so what time did the bannings come out, i was on live playing rock band til 1:30 tuesday morning and hadnt been banned yet.
