No one really knows why these bannings are happening right now. We think that it could be bad backups that people create. I played Ace Combat 6 last night, and then just went to the Dashboard and connected to Live, and I was fine!

checked my iso with mulleter and all are ok even cod 4 checked via crc checker on mulleter and passed with flying colours one console banned and one not both sammy drives with same firmware played same backups so go figure i cant work it out

Hey I'm in the #fw chatroom on the #xbins, and we checked the Live Status and this is what it said:
Live Status: Live is safe once again - beware bad game images, however
Just thought I'd let the people that don't go on the IRC Channel's know about this!

If I had to put $ on what the problem is, I woulld say it was a bad copy of MASS EFFECT floatin on newsgroups, ill bet anyone who got banned played that copy. It was corupted beyond any game i ever seen and I will not touch it.

Hi i am a a newbiee to xbox live flashing i paid i quy last year to flash myn ani way wat i want to know is if i pay this quy to restore my orignal frimware and i play on xbox live with the frimware restored back to normal will i still get banned ?

it depends if microsoft has logged you as having modded firmware yet or not.

"The bannings start again" hmmmm this is what the 5th time that this has popped up every were again in the last 3months? Bullsh*t ive played online every time there is supposedly a 'banhammer'and im not banned!!.Imo its just 1 or 2 dudes every time that don't make proper backups, get banned, and rant on and on about it to every website-forum they have ever seen.
