I didn't mean for it to sound like I was getting personal. I think there are several other settings that need to be changes as well. I think you need to change the CSS Tab to I/O Key Exchange -> Brute Force as well. That may be it, I can't remember. It's been awhile since I've done it that way. I've used AnyDVD ripper or DVDFab for some time. I rarely use RI4M because of the time it takes. However, it uses DVD-D as well.

born2ride,
You don't need pictures for DVD-D if you use RI4M. As far as ImgBurn it is pretty simple. If you are burning a VIDEO_TS folder you can follow my buddy alkohols guide. http://my.afterdawn.com/alkohol/blog_entry.cfm?id=1405 It has pictures!!

You do not pick the rent_2005 folder, you pick the VIDEO_TS folder under Rent-2005 or whatever the movie is. For example: D:\Harry_Potter_5\VIDEO_TS I would select the VIDEO_TS folder and not Harry_Potter_5

The reason it wants DL media is because you have not shrunk the VIDEO_TS folder to fit a DVD-5. That is where DVD Shrink comes into play. Use DVD Shrink to shrink the file on the HDD before you try to burn with it. This is where many people shrink to an ISO image.

That is the step that you are missing before you try to burn. Make sure to select the VIDEO_TS folder is you are going to use the rebuild feature in ImgBurn. I hope that helps.

born2ride & syxguns,
I'm glad you two were able to reconcile. Merry X'mas to you both.
@ born2ride,
I can understand your reluctance on utilizing ImgBurn. I think across the board, people have become loyal to applications they've gotten so proficient on because of incessant use. Anyway, to help ease your worries you can download DVD Shrink configured to burn using ImgBurn without manual intervention. The download is available at LOCOENG's profile under "Links."

born2ride,
If you ripped the disk to that folder and you can play the film on your computer then I would suggest you re-name the folder that you are trying to burn and make the folder called VIDEO_TS then it will work. If you desire to keep the name of the movie as the first folder then create a new folder and name it the name of the movie then drag the folder that you just named VIDEO_TS to that folder.
