This is very true! lol What's funny (or sad) is that prices are always inflated here in NYC. I'll never forget when I went to Detroit the cost of the large Starbucks coffe (whatever the hell they are called) is the cost of the small size here in NYC. Everything here is expensive, which is why when I go on vacation to other big cities, it's a nice little treat to have things a little cheaper.
Anyway, the cost of DLs aren't that bad anymore. You can consistently find 20-30 packs for $25-$30. Office Max had a recent sale of Verbs DL for $25. Sonys at Best Buy were $30. If you got the right ones, those would've coded out as Verbs. Just gotta strike when the iron's hot.
PS I never saw the driving days of 1.30 gas. The cheapest I saw when I started driving was $2.50. It's sad that I consider that cheap lol.

You should have no problem. What version of Fab are you using? Give the disc a good cleaning. Even a fingerprint can cause problems. Then there the possibility that you may have a bad disc.

DVDFab 4.1.2.0
the dvd is pristine. brand new. never touched by anything other than the case and the tray (and my hand in between). it's really strange because it looks like it's doing a full read. it takes longer than 15 minutes and there are no errors. seems like kind of a long read for just 70 megs or so.

i'm an idiot.
the DVDFab seemed to create a new directory somewhere else with the full rip and i was looking at another directory with an impartial rip. found the new directory and it's all good now.
thanks for the quick replies!

Solution
1) latest anydvd 6470 and ripit4me 1710 (rip to HDD)
2)process with dvd shrink (output as iso)
3) burn with imgburn
4) watch disc
When the chips are down, you can count on miltex !

If AnyDVD is updated to the current version, it may be a bad press on the disk you got. You may have to try a different copy.

When you rip you should have a VIDEO_TS folder. When you transcode with DVD Shrink you can select either VIDEO_TS (Hard Disc Folder) or ISO...the choice is your and Imgburn will handle either type for burning.

When I did the original rip it was with anydvd by itself and it came out to around 6gigs and saved it as an iso. If i use the video ts option i can than add that to dvd shrink for compression?
Many thanks,

Lets start from the beginning to avoid any confusion.
What did you rip with...AnyDVD or RipIt4Me?
Did you use the AnyDVD ripper or was AnyDVD running behind another program?
How did you get the ISO after ripping?
