No matter what software you use to rip, there are errors that manually need to be corrected. If backing up main movie, make sure it's title 1 only and remove the last 2 seconds. If doing the whole disc, check for errors with PgcEdit.

^^ Really? I thought it would be loaded. But I think someone here mentioned there's a 2-disc version.
Even on a single layer, there's all this trash on it? I haven't picked up my copy yet. If I got time later today or tomorrow, I'll swing by to get it.

I've ripped Rambo already using DVDFab Platinum 4, but haven't got around to backing it up until today where I've found that DVDShrink can't open vts_13. I've run VOB Blanker 2130 against the folder, but it errors out when it gets to vts_13 and crashes before writing the video_ts file.
Anybody have any ideas how I can burn this thing? I can't re-rip it because I've already locked the original in the vault and I've forgotten the combination. Locksmith can't come out until next week.
Nevermind, FixVTS did the job!!!

The reason it errors is because there are a few IFO files that point to VOB files that aren't there. DVDFab deletes the useless VOB's but the IFO's remain.

After trying numerous methods with no success, I decided to go old school and try DVD XCopy Xpress. Believe it or not, it worked.

I just got Rambo. DVD is right out of the box and plays fine in my DVD players. Just spins in both my computers and the computer never recognizes that there is a disc in there. I was going to use either AnyDVD and Shrink or DVDFab but I am unable to get to that point with this movie. Suggestions?

Most likely a bad disc. Even though can play on dvd player, and not on pc, means bad disc. Xchange and retry.
