Ive done the full pandora battery/magic memory stick creation as per the guide made by larrylje in sept last year. I hardmodded my battery, made the memory stick, updated it to 3.90-m33-3. The system software is listed as 3.90 m33-3 under system information. Ive downloaded a number of games from isohunt.com and these files after extraction are .cso files, they are in an iso folder on my desktop. I took one of the games and moved it into the ISO folder on the root of my psp memory card.
To my understanding everything is done perfectly, yet I am still getting the 80020321 error when I go to play the game from the memory stick. I hit X at memory stick and the game is there, it shows the cinematic and theme screen to the game (God of War - Chains of Olympus) but when I hit X to enter the game it goes to the psp loading screen first then straight to the 80020321 error.
Now the only thing I can think of that might have been done wrong is that the game files are .cso files, or possibly that some files need to be moved. I read that once you'd created your MMS and upgraded your firmware that you just return your pandora battery back to a regular battery, move the .cso or .iso into the ISO folder of your root directory and play. But my games wont play. Please help, I have 145 .cso games worth 80gigz Id hate to delete. thnxs - Bladedsun.

To downgrade (and get a custom firmware) or unbrick your PSP, you need the Pandora's Battery. There is three ways to get the Pandora Battery.
1. Find a someone who has a Custom Firmware that is willing to let you borrow their psp. You will use their psp to softmod the battery. Meaning using software to make the Pandora. If you willing to do this, follow this guide:
GUIDE
2. Hardmod the battery. Meaning that you have to open that battery up, and pulling out a pin. Note that if you pull the wrong one, your battery would be messed. If you are willing to do this, follow this guide
GUIDE
3. The most safest way, is to buy a premade pandora battery from the internet (use google or ebay).If so, follow this guide or use the same guide on the second step. I recommend buying from DealExtreme for $10.

I have the blue madden ps with 3.95 OFW, can i install directly to 4.01 M33-2(DC7). I already have the MM stick using Rains MMS v1 and pandora battery. i don't need to downgrade right? as psps under 4.xx can be hacked directly depending on the mobo

Note that you need a a ms smaller than a 4GB and a win xp.
@uklayte,
It is the button on the Left Side of the PSP ... The top one. It should say "L" on it.
It worked fine on my 4 gb
