Yes, it does burn, with img burn program. my question is, what if i want to burn it with another program, is there a way to tell dvdflick to not do the burn with img burn?

Yes, you can untick the Burn With Imgburn option in Dvd Flick.

What's wrong with burning with Imgburn?

I don't see where that option is, can you tell me where?? i didn't tell it to do anything with that program and it is picking it up anyway.
It is unchecked, still img burn picks it up.
Is there somewhere else i should be looking at this, I've gone through project settings, menu, create dvd, that's all i do, i tell it not to burn am image for the disc itself.

it's not that there is anything wrong with img burn, i just don't like to rely on just one source for getting something done, you never know when these things will start having issues with something down the road. And I like my options to be open.

That's the directions i followed, i do use a menu though, can this be why img burn keeps picking it up? my other alternative is to take img burn off the computer and see what will happen.

if i get a video tos file, open it up with dvd shrink, can real player 10.5 burn it?

once again, on two other titles, i have my settings EXACTLY as in this manual, and img burn picked it up to burn. why??

That's what the guide says!
The exact words from the link I gave you states:
If you would rather have just an ISO image of the DVD to burn at your own leisure, only check the Create ISO image option, and enter a disc label.

okay, i wasn't udnerstanding that part, i thought they must meant an image to be burned on the disc itself, not the movie, Thank you!! so very much everyone, you're all great and i appreciate the time put into this.

now, if you'll allow another question i checked off normal view mode as opposed to the wide view, it does not change. the way i ask it too.
