what about sata ports and molex conns? im gonna need to power those arent i? ive been reading on xecuters forums, they mentioned power cycling. but i dont want to have to open my xbox, then hav the power cycle not working and then be stuck all over again.

ah, you have no choice. The xbox has to be opened and it does have to be power cycled. Are you hopefully reading the jungle flasher guide? No offense, this is starting to get annoying and it seems you don't have a clue what you are doing. If you aren't comfortable doing this you shouldn't do it. You seem to ask the basic questions over and over again in more than one thread.
