I've always been a fan of Starview as the boxes have been very reliable and easy to work with but this just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

I hope when the next generation of boxes are released we all remember which companies were working to provide support and which were very notably absent, i know i certainly will.

Fergus thanks for all your work recently and i wouldnt mind a pm with some KV info if you please.

Lads is anyone having trouble with there usb attached to the null cable I cant seem to get my computer to find a driver also tried on the laptop and am getting the same message, (cant find driver insert the disc)any help would be gratefull

hi bud im confused with what ur saying you dont use a nul modem with stARview usb and dont use that shit stick you get use a different flash key and download version 10 onto it i fixed a few boxes in cork cause the key(the free 1) was not flashing properly its simple any probs email me back and i go through it with you i out now after this for night but if you have trouble i be online in morn best o luck.

hi. I bought a eurovox ex5000 last year and bar a few minor problems its been fine. Now i am in the market to purchase a new box for upstairs and was just going to buy the latest eurovox edition but it seems from the thread that would be the worst thing to do. Can someone help and point me in the right direction please.

Hi gavin
the problem Im having is when i connect the null cable to the usb adaptor cable and plug it into my computer or laptop it cant find a driver ,it keeps telling me to load the disc ,which i dont have,so i cant download the firmware from my computer to the starview or the eurovox maxv.
I have the super box usb which is all up and running no problems.
Just cant get the firmware from the computer to the boxs.

personally he gave an excellent guide on how to upload firmware and always seemed to help us out
