i was myself mate a true believer in the starview but when you see things like boxes not been supported and left with blank screens for weeks on end you have to move on to the ones that are supported and not only the new boxes but the old ones as well

I am not 100% on this but I don't believe the manufacturers of any of these boxes are releasing the software for them. All the files that are put on these boxes to enable the viewing of subscription channels are hacks.
Now, unofficially they may release "leak" software with "modified features" to bump up the sales of their boxes, but its not official/legal. So don't complain about support from the manufacturers.
The importers of these boxes who purchase several thousand at a time and then sell them to the retail/web suppliers are the people who have most to gain from cracked encryption systems. These are the people who facilitate getting the software into the public domain.
Somewhere there is a warehouse full of starview 4`s gathering dust. Its the owner of the contents of that warehouse who spent the last 3 months, paying, bribing, reverse engineering the kryptview code to see if he could get something working with his stock. Its the only way he will shift it. Its not in his interest to release the code for any other box. The same way the Kryptview programmers wont release their methods or algorithms.
In ye olden days, a programmer would spend ages stripping the code to see how it works. Modify it for their needs and equipment. Just for the kudos. Now its all about the YoYo`s.
I do believe the majority of the boxes out there at the moment are capable of decoding the encapsulated signal if the software is written for them, but there is no profit in that.
