Ah!!

Enlightenment is in my grasp...

I have been using princo as well and find them cheap to buy and of good quality as well, here down under in Aussieland.
Princo is considered Good Quality in Australia???

I suppose the following would also meet the Good Quality Rating also:

Heartbreak High
Neighbours
Sons and Daughters
Prisoner Cell Block H
The Young Doctors
Home and Away
The Sullivans

I suppose spending all their time upside down must have some effect ;)

<just joking>

Life is just more of the same:

DRCHIPS & NOEL,

Princo are cheapest at the Computer Markets held once or twice a month in most major towns along the NSW east coast. They are a lot cheaper than the retail stores of Aussieland.

andellul:

I would not doubt that Princo is the cheapest at the Computer Markets (those Markets tend to be cheaper than the shops anyway, and a real good bargain can be had).

The thing I find incredulous is the Good Quality tag applied to Princo in Aus.....

I was never questioning the price (I can buy real nasty media here in the U.K. for almost nothing too!!!)

Have Fun....

I would not call princo nasty they have a good name here as they do the job well. The media you use and the DVD Burner you use make all the difference. I use Gigabyte DVD dual GO-W0404A and I would not call cheap nasty unless you get heaps of coasters. I just mean to say you can get good media at a reasonably price if you look around and I put Princo first on the list In Australia.

I need a VOTE !

Should I take back the two 50pk's of Memorex 4x before I bust the seal???

They were both for 79 bucks.

What about Verbatim brand? They are on sale this week at the local box store.

I'd take them back. You may have no problems, you may have nothing but problems, or you may get a result anywhere in between, but if you buy Riteks (or another good brand) you shouldn't have to worry about it. I'm using Verbatim DataLifePlus +R discs right now (I waited too long to order Riteks) and I have no problem recommending them.
