I have just recieved the Redundancy check error. It seems that everyone else is getting them after DVD Shrink 3.2 has finished analyzing. Mine is happening while it is analyzing. I have a brand new LG burner the dual layer one. I have never had a problem with the LG burners. But im trying to backup my family guy seasons, and I was able to get DVD 1 and 2 done no problem, now im trying to do 3 and its not allowing me to. DVD 3 it stops and gives me that error about 1 minute into analyzing, and DVD 4 gets about 3 minutes and then gives me the error. Any suggestions?

Clean the disk as most cycle redundancy is due to scratched or dirty media.

I have checked the disks none of them have any scraches they are brand new out of the package. Today i even tried DVD Decrypter and it gave me some error. not sure of it next time i get it i will put it in. But its kind of weird that DVD Decrypter nor DVD Shrink would read the disk. Any other ideas or suggestions?

I am having the same error messages. I have a benQ W822A Dual Layer DVD+RW drive. I bought it about 2 months ago. Everything worked fine with DVD Shrink. I have a Pentium 4 with Windows XP and 3 Hard Drives. 1 for my programs, 1 for my music and 1 for documents and videos. Recently I had to reformat my programs drive and reinstall everything. I was able to shrink 1 DVD and when I tried to do another movie right after it, it gave me the CRC error during analyzing. Now it won't even burn DVDs, read DVDs or anything. Sometime it even says the drive is not ready. The only thing I can think of is that I did download the Windows XP SP2 before I tried shrinking a DVD after reinstalling everything. Has anyone noticed their CRC errors showing up after Downloading XP SP2?

I contacted the manufacture, becuase the drive was only 2 months old and no matter what computer I put it in, it gave me the same errors. Well, they said they would need to replace my drive and I shipped it out today.

I will do that. No matter what DVD I put it it wouldn't copy it. Also, when I would Burn DVDs or CDs the buffer on the drive would fluctuate and so would the write speed. So I think it was something with the drive. I would contact your manufacturer.
