Hello: Being new to this forum, please excuse me if this question has been asked before. I have purchased a number of software packages including DX Copy, Record Now, and others, all promissing to be able to burn rented DVDs. But once installed I have not had any luck doing so. Is it me, or the software note being able to do what it promissed.

Recently I was told that I could download shrink and that I would not have this problem again. I have downloaded a few of the different versions and again have the same problems.

Is there any free software out there which once installed let me burn DVDs. Please inform me of only those that you have installed and know to work. I am tired of being suggested to try this and that only to find out they don't work.

Finally is there other types of software that must be downloaded with the burning software to make it work. I am currently using Windows xp and have a BENQ external burner.

Be careful, muli-posting is a no-no, and like you've been told, burning rented videos is illegal. If you purchase the master, than there are free programs that will copy DVD's, but you need to get yourself right before anyone will help you.
