My questions is this -

Say you were to rip a dvd movie using "full disc" mode with dvd shrink utilizing no compression and saved it as as .iso file on your hard drive.

Would there be any video degradation or quality loss?

Example: If I ripped an .iso of a movie using the method decribed above and ripped the same movie to hard drive using dvd decrypter, the quality would be identical with no signal loss or degradation, right?

As long no compression is used, the quality should not change from the original.

If you haven't paid attention around here lately, Decrypter is no longer going to be updated as well.....

And while shrink will no longer be updated, it's cousin continually does....Recode
