Speaking of a drug awareness website directly above that sig of yours is something of an irony, isn't it? LOL!

a good bitch for smoking
Quote: Cigarette break saves US woman's life
Warning: Trees falling on your house can kill
By Lester Haines → More by this author
Published Thursday 19th April 2007 14:06 GMT
The pro-smoking lobby got a small boost on Monday after a South Carolina woman cheated death by nipping outside the house for a cigarette.
Brenda Comer, of Rock Hill, had just finished washing the dishes at around 11am when she popped out for a gasper. At that moment, The Seattle Times dramatically recalls, "an 80-foot-tall oak tree, felled by winds gusting up to 40mph, crashed through the roof".
The tree fell directly onto the sink where Comer had been washing up. Her daughter Amy, still inside the wrecked house, escaped unscathed. She recalled: "It sounded like the worst cracking sound you could imagine."
Brenda later told hubby Franky: "Honey, I know you fuss at me for smoking, but today it saved my life."
Quote: Bootnote
Years ago, I met an old timer who'd been an air warden in London during the Blitz. One night in 1940, he tried to get into a shelter* during a raid but was turned away because he was smoking. As he crossed the road, a bomb hit the building above, which collapsed. More than 170 people in the shelter were killed. Accordingly, whenever his doc suggested he really ought to cut out the cigs, he politely declined.

We never stopped. I wasn't getting at you persoanlly previously ;-)
Cool, sounds good. We're onto making a client database amt. This is the 3rd section of the task and I got an A and an A* in the two previous ones, so it's not proving too difficult atm. It's also boring. Hopefully the other sections (which inculde web disigning) will be better.

I need to be more commited.
End of last year we had a 30% of our ICT GCSE..i got an A*...the highest mark in the year. I only revised the night before. I got 94% or something..
But i hate IT coursework...its so boring...i have no attention span as it is on interesting things like maths, never mind writing out how a printer works over and over gain.
So last years coursework i got a B...just...and this year i will only just get a B.
That means it will be hard to get an A*....but an A is still easily achievable with revision.

TEACHERS LOGIC
A school student was in a philosophy class which had a discussion about God's existence. The teacher presented the following logic:
"Has anyone in this class heard God?" Nobody spoke.
"Has anyone in this class touched God?" Again, nobody spoke.
"Has anyone in this class seen God?" When nobody spoke for the third time, he simply stated,
"Then there is no God."
One student thought for a second, and then asked for permission to reply. Curious to hear this bold student's response, the teacher granted it, and the student stood up and asked the following questions of his classmates:
"Has anyone in this class heard our teachers brain?" Silence.
"Has anyone in this class touched our teachers brain?" Silence.
"Has anyone in this class seen our teachers brain?"
When nobody in the class dared to speak, the student concluded, "Then, according to our teachers logic, it must be true that our teacher has no brain!"
You can't argue with that!

Billy, I can see where you're coming from. I find it very hard to apply myself fully to the task when I have no interest in it whatsoever. I like ICT, but some of the work is boring as..

@ Ripper.
I like computers, but ICT is something different. I like the discussions, but the coursework has nothing interesting whatsoever about it. I can do it, but its just so boring i never do. Its no excuse i know.
For example, having discussions with the teacher in ICT is great...whereas writing about ICT in Society is boring.
