DVD Shrink Freezing w/new motherboard

I just built a new computer, using my old custom built computer parts which were all working before. My new computer runs fine, but everytime I try to use dvd shrink my computer freezes now and I get a BSOD with a machine check exception error. So far games and and some cd burning have worked, any idea's

new computer:

AMD athlon 64 3200+
ECS nforce3-a mobo
1 gig of pqi ram (512x2) pc3200

old computer:
amd athlon 1.3
ecs mobo
728 of generic ram

same hard drives, dvd burner graphics card etc..

I was thinking a driver problem, but everything else seems to run fine.

Sorry your thread got lost in the shuffle. I'm thinking it might be a driver issue as well. Are they all current?
