it seems to be taking longer to burn a movie as time goes on some times 45-50 min to complete burn it used to be 25 min.

Check to make sure you IDE controllers are still set to DMA in your device manager, not set to PIO. Also burn times will vary with the length of the movie itself. I copy a single layer dvd start to finish in less than a half hour. Dual layer dvd movies take 45 min to 1 hr.

how do I change my current transfer mode to DMA or are my settings ok
