I have been using dvd shrink for over a year, but i encountered a new problem last night. I backed up a dvd, and before i could burn it, i deleted the original files and all of the compressed files. so i started all over, used decrypter, and then tried to shrink it again. at 96% encoding, i got an error that said "out of memory, the page file is too small to continue" or something like that. any ideas?

What was the name of this movie? I ask because some newer movies have a copy protection on them that gives you this error. I doubt that is what's going on here though, usually that would happen about half way through if it were the case.

Try to defrag your hard drive, and get rid of any processes you won't need, such as anti-virus stuff, etc...and no multitasking while doing movie stuff. If you still get this error and it's towards the end, you can always try to go into safe mode and do the movie, just to have as much resources free as possible.

And how much RAM do you have?
