Hard drive filling up when using Shrink

I just started backing up the favorites in my collection and inside a day or two, my hard drive went from 28Gb free to 4Gb free. I am using DVD Shrink and burning with DVD Decrypter. I could only find one previous thread with a similar topic but that guy was burning with Nero and his solution did't fix my problem.

I've searched for files bigger than 1Gb but there are none. After burning, I delete the image file, and purge the Recycle Bin but the problem is still there. I suspect that Shrink or Decrypter is creating cache files that it is not erasing. If so, where are they? I can't find them and I can't find any settings that would seem to affect this caching, if indeed that is the problem. Any help is very much appreciated!!!

If you are using Nortons on your computer - try deleting Norton Protected Files from your recycle bin.

Are you running through DVD Decrypter, DVD Shrink and then burning with DVD Decrypter? If you are, DVD Decrypter places a 7-8GB file on your HD and then DVD Shrink also places a 4GB file on your HD. Just a suggestion.

Thanks - I found four 4.6Gb files in the Norton Protected part of the recycle bin. They didn't show up when I opened the bin, only when I got into the Recycle Wizard (and they showed up with about 1900 other files) . Deleting that fixed it. FYI I used Shrink to rip and compress. Thanks a ton!!
