i am having the worst problems with dvd shrink, 1st off i have been trying to save the iso file destination before i ripp into an external hard drive since then i have been having these problems. everytime i ripp to backup a dvd my laptop shutsoff completly and some kind of mds files are saved in the ex.harddrive, so i figured to just save to my harddrive on the laptop now it still shutting my pc off in the middle of backingup my files, so now i am asking for some help, i uninstalled dvd shrink and installed the newest version but same probmlems are happening ne help???

only thing I can think of is a virus or over heating causing your system to re-boot check out this link if it sounds to familiar than it might help if not just a little knowledge gained good luck

I agree sounds like overheating, had the same problem with my laptop a few times. Try getting a cooling pad for underneath they are really helpful.
