The online will only be like shoot other people around and stuff like that but knowing rockstar you dont know what to expect it could be anything.....

so what content is gta gonna have on the xbox 360?

The 360 wil have a few bonus material like 2 missions I think they are online and the ps3 will have two different missions... But for more information they are some where in this thread someone posted.

so which console would be the best for gta?
becuase the main reason i want the next gen consoles is becuase of THAT game! lol
will all future gta's be on both platforms?

Yeah 360 and ps3. I would go with the ps3 version because the ps3 version has the slight advantage in graphics, plus it can hold a lot more information then an xbox disc because ps3 has Blu-ray disc....

all the GTA games in the past have been multiplatform, GTA 3, vice city, san andreas, are all available for Ps2 and xbox. So my guess will be that it will be for both only this time around the series will be available from day one on PS3 and xbox 360.

Yeah I see what you mean sony used to always get the game first then xbox. But then microsoft siad they got it two months ahead for the new gta but I think that changed...

Yeah this whole thread we were talking on how gta should improve.... But It will have better graphics, more things to do and whatever else rockstar can think of....

well considering halo 3 is not out till mid 2007, and they have only just released details on it, last week, but gta4 does not release for another year so you can kinda gues when the details will be released.
PS3 specs may look better than xbox 360 but i am yet to see a game on the PS3 that looks better than any of the top end xbox 360 games such as gears of war, mass effect and halo 3.

Yeah it will most likely be better... BUt dude you havn't even played a ps3 don't count your eggs before they hatch... Just wait till we get some play time on that baby then will get some real fan boi debates going! LOL

I second that. But in terms of information release timing, just think back to how they made us suffer with information about San Andreas. They only released 4 screenshots (th eones with the orange tint) and a logo and the rest came in the month leading up to the game's release.
Rockstar knows that hype plays a big role in the franchise's success but their method of achieving such hype is teasing you to the point of desperate insanity.
I predict that the first real screenshot will emerge sometime in february (or even later)

20 PS3 Titles from Take-Two

That might kill their profit. 70-80% of gta gamers are male. And I think they should let you pick a character. Or make one.
