does anybody know if this goin to happen in scotland / glasgow because i just told my uncle to buy 1 ...... iv had sv 1 for ages & never had any probs , got a new sv4 usb for kids & now getting worried

This seems to be mainly Ireland that`s affected as in england, boxes still working fine ? Is there any box out there that can address N*hell in the Republic of Ireland to get "sky scum" channels back?
I`ve heard Kryptview mentioned or is this now gone too?
Anyone know if software developers working on fix for super usb box

all boxes are gone on n*l cable
and regards software developers working on a fix dont hold your breath
but some1 will sort something out just be patient.

yes that happened to me when i got my box usb at x.mass then they went off around march,
and in june they came out with a fix for nag.2 happy days it was,
now we have gone to nag.3 :-( and are waiting for a fix which is anybodys guess when it will be cracked
so no more 170 stations at the moment.

they have lost a few channels sports & movies
n*l are moving to nag.3 at the moment, no fix or solution as of yet
dont bin your box just be patient.

Have followed The Box Super USB instructions with no splitters but am still not receiving many channels (only BBC1 BBC2 and BBC 4). Other channels are showing a dollar sign. Can anyone help? live in ayrshire scotland

hey guys if i flash my box with 112 firmware will it work temporary r did i get screwed by bloke who sold box to me as i only have it a month i'm in north county dublin. by the way when i change channels on my sv4 box it comes up this is an invalid box .does this mean n;hell tracking us down

sorry to tell you but the message "this is an invalid box" means that your box will fry very soon, it is either a clone or one of a batch that was affected by the beta software. if you are in the ire ntl area it will be no use anyway.

Thanks E45 .. much appreciate all the help. Instructions were excellent.
My problem was due to cabling. Used (i)null modem cable with (ii) USB to serial converter. Achieved success by removing (ii) and using an old computer!

Hello All,
I am sort of new to the world of DVB, but I am buying a box for me sister in law, and I dont know which is the best to buy...
Eurovox or Starview 4? I have read good things about the Krptview on here and other places, but havent really seen them for sale.
I live in Merseyside England, not sure if that info may sway the decision, but it may have something to do with networks and various systems in plac by the providers..
Any help given will be really appreciated.
