i have a killer 7 file thats done downloading and i have no clue how to burn them. its very easy to do with one .ISO file, but in this case i have a buncg of files named:

e-killr7.001 going all the way to e-killr7.053 (about 48,000 kb each) as well as one file named e-killr7.sfv (2kb)

do i just burn all these files ontop a dvd and thats it? or is there another step to it (like changing it to an iso file...?) anyway, what do i do?

thanks!

Hi
You need WinRAR to open the files, the iso is inside it, download WinRAR if you havent got it, double click on the first file e-killr7.001 WinRAR will open and you will get an option to extract, pick a location where you want your iso, then burn with DVD Decrypter ENJOY!

wow, genious! it worked!...

just so i know...would this work if i extracted ANY of the 53 files? or does it have to be the 1st one?...like, do they all contain the same identical iso?

and ive alsonoticed the same typoe of thing on other games except all the files are in .rar format. does this mean that i also take the FIRST one and extract it and ill receive the iso?

thanks again berty!!

It's basically just 1 file split into 53 bits, so if you use winrar it should just extract the entire .iso in one go. It would be smart to start with the first one, just in case...

Sad.....I remember a day when you couldn't ask a question like this on AD. And if you were dumb enough to, you were warned and your post deleted. If you want to play a game, go buy it. If you're broke (like me), then trade in old games for new ones. Piracy is bad. Don't be an ass.

@ Benagain
I have downloaded games that i own just for the knowledge of doing it, sure it would have been quicker to copy them, but then i wouldnt have been able to help BHZD with his problem. I thought AD was about helping out each other, whatever the problem.

I sort of have the same situation over here with Winning Eleven 9. I have around 29 .rar files, but mine can't be extracted. Says 'No archives found'....is there something wrong with the files or??because alot of other people seem to have gotten them to work...Btw, i've never done anything with burning or copying ps2 games...this is the first attempt.

I would apreciate an answer very much, since i've been dealing with this for several days now, i feel like an idiot

yes, i've tried the first one and alot of different ways several times. But still all i get is ''Warning! No archives found''
I used Azureus to get it (If that helps)...There are also four other files in the folder; .sfv , .nfo , .jpg, .html

Hi
Did the download deffinately finish at 100% and then move on to seeding? It sounds like it hasnt completed properly and is corrupted, the only thing i can suggest is to check it has deffinately finished or d/l the game again

If you own the original, then you can have a playabale backup in a matter of minutes. I've made backups of all my games and had no trouble. I'm able to play a working backup within an hour. Yes, AD is about helping people, but piracy only hurts the gaming biz. Like I said, if you can't pay the $60 for a new game, trade in an old one. If you think you're clever to download your games, then you can figure out how to play them on your own. I hope you get to the last level and the game freezes on you.

Ok, so that was a little harsh. I just don't see a need do download games when you can make a backup of a game you allready own so easily. It just bothers me beacause people downloading games make it harder on all of us who backup our own games so we don't f-up the original. I've just had a bad day and I was lashing out at other people. Nothing personal about it.

@benagain
Dont worry about it, but ive had to download a game because my son completely destroyed the original ( give a game to a 9 year old and see if its readable after a few weeks). Yes i should have backed it up as soon as i got it, but its a lesson learnt. As long as sites offer games/films whatever, people are going to download it, if they dont find out from this site how to deal with them they will somewhere else.

look guys, i confess I downloaded WE9, but i'm still gonna buy PES 5 when it releases in europe....meaning i'm not directly screwing over konami because they'll still get 60 ? from me, but that's in a few months.

anyway, i got the torrent working, so everything's cool now. Just need to burn it on a DVD <--we'll see how i screw that up, but thanks for the help everyone

hey i just thought of something...if i plan to DL another ps2 title soon, and it has like 53 files like the killer7 one did, then b4 i do the DL, cant i just select that one file instead of DL'ing all 53?

and does it make a difference if its a ".001" or a ".rar" extension?

It's 1 file split into 53 pieces - as Daniel_G posted. If you download the first file, you only have 1 piece (1/53). Winrar will bring up an error saying file incomplete or corrupt.

If it ends in .001, select the file and right click. Select open with and use Winrar.

P.S. Piracy is wrong
