Does anyone know why there are sometimes 2 lots of 5.1 english ticked on some movies when re authoring? I guess you untick one of them and leave the other. Can't figure out why there are 2 in the first place.

Could be one audio track is for the hearing impaired. That actors yell
their lines really loud.

I've never run into that so I can't say.

Yer, I've only come across it once before. I unticked one of them to cut the size down and it sounds fine. Seems to be playing in 5.1.

Could one of the audio files be the directors/actors commentary, the part where they talk over the movie?

I don't think so because both were exactly the same size and I'm told that the director's comments are generally in 2 channel. So the english 5.1 was at the top then came French 5.1 German 5.1 another language or two then English 5.1 again at the bottom of the list. Oh well, not to worry, probably won't come across it again.

If both English, one is AC3 and the other may be DTS. Two diferent surround sound schemes. I believe this was the case on Sin City.

Actually Stan they were both listed as AC3 that's why it was so wierd.
