DVD Shrink trouble

I have some trouble copying DVD's. When DVD Shrink finishes it says succesfully completed, but when I try to play the disc, it won(t play. Can anyone help me?

What are you playing that disc in: Stand alone player or PC drive?

List your burner model name and # and also your stand alone player # if it is the drive that won't play your backups.
Also list the programs you are using in the dvd backup process.

Pc drive. In the begining everything wen't well, but now it doesn't work anymore. I have tried several media. I can burn cdr's with Nero without a problem, but dvd's won't work anymore. Rewritable DVD's do.

It has no brand. When i use them on the PC of my parents, it goes without a problem.

Your burner may need a firmware update.

Sounds like poor media,especially if your own DVD-RW drive can't play it's own backups while your parents pc will play them.Unless I misinterpreted your last post.

No, I mean I can't make any copies with them, but on the computer of my parents I have no problems te make copies.

Download that free program I linked for you earlier. It will ID those blank discs and also tell you what version of firmware you have on your burner, Whatever brand name and model # it is that I asked earlier and was never answered.That program also tells you your burner model#,but some burners will state generic names.

It all comes down to firmware and media codes. These burners have to have updated firmwares every now and then.
