What does DVDXCopy do that macs can't?

what process does DVDXCopy do that macs can't? I mean it stores the dvd on the HD and then splits it into two...why cant somone make a program to do that for the mac, all the things i see for mac is to encode it and stuff, and it takes SO much longer!

What do you mean by split it in two??

split it into two VOB files, Split the AC3 from the M2V, or something else?

to split a VOB I believe you can use final cut pro/express (i don't have this)

to split AC3 and M2V use osex or decoder

no no, it takes one DVD, and puts it onto 2 DVD's if its dual layered, you still get menus and extras, and it does it all for you automatically
