I have fitted the crystal chip, and it allows me to play back up games fine but not online, So I decided to go back online with the original and that didnt work either, It was saying something about contacting them.

Is it saying something about DNA's error or cheat device detected? Sometimes you have to disable the modchip for online gaming.

Well it dosent play my backups,
I no it has been ags but my pc was down so I couldnt post asking how to fix it.
Everytime I put my backup in it comes up Please insert a game or dvd or w/e
And I have also tried burning my originals with different software to see if it could be that but still no luck.
Any one know why?

If you have your memory card inserted, when you power up your PS2, the Bootmanager should pop up..
Does that happen?

Is it a red screen that tells you to insert a ps2 game? AKA "RSOD" (Red Screen Of Death)

How are you burning your backups and at what speed?
. Q. How do I burn PS2 games?
A. Use DVD Decrypter. Guide: http://www.angelfire.com/games6/easytutorial/dvddec/dvddec.html Burn at 4x on an 8x DVD-R.
2. Q. Does the type of media I use matter?
A. YES: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/3/240341 If you're too lazy to read, use Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim, Ritek, Sony, TDK, Maxell, Sony or Phillips DVD-R's. Avoid Memorex, Staples, Imation, etc.

Well I use Nero for burning and a DataWrite dvd.
And these worked when I didnt have a chip and was just using Swap Magic.
And yes it is a "RSOD"
