Problem with DVD shrink

I used DVD Decrypter and the movie is in my hard drive. Now I am trying to shrink it using DVD shrink, but it stops at 75% or 90% everytime I try burn process. The movie plays on my computer. Also I open the movie using Nero and the movie is too long,834 mb, to burn on a dvd. Any other suggestions?

Did you set target size to 4360?

I also did a deep analysis and it said at 100% dvd shrink encounter an error. Programming error. The parameter is incorrect. Any other suggestions? I am going to play around with DVD shink now. Thanks you for replying.

To set target size go to Edit and select preferences, you will see the target size box and a drop down box. Click the drop down box and select "Custom". You will be allowed to set the target size then.

Good luck. There is a great guide for using decrypter and shrink at the beginning of this forum. I downloaded and printed it for reference.

Hi again.

I tried the custom to 4464. And it failed. It said Programming error. the handle invalid. What does this mean and how can i correct it?

i have downloaded DVD Shrink and it wont open it keeps asking me what app. i want to use to open it and i just cant figure it out can some one please help me

. I am just guessing on this, but it might be a conflict with the Standard DVD-5 size being the same as custom? Try selecting DVD-5, it has the same size as what you were trying to set in custom. If that isn't it, i will do some research on this error code.

hi
I tried the DVD-5 custom in dvdshrink but it still will not work. the file reads 8001mb in the re-author section.

I first copy movie to hard drive usind dvddecrypter and i want to shrink it to fit it in one dvd. Any other shrinkers out there? any other suggestions?
