Hello All,
I tried to search a detailed soltution to this problem in the forums but since I couldn't find one, I'm hoping to get a few answers to this post.
I have a few foreign language dvd's that I am trying to burn. These Dvd's typically run about 3 hours.. I try to get rid of as many extra features that I will not use in backing up the dvd... but many of them still do not fit on my regular 4.7 GM / 120 Min Blanks that I am trying to burn onto.
I would like to back up the entire dvd preferabbly and not just have it in parts... is there anyway to compress the data furthur so that it will fit ?
Is there a way using dvd decrypter or something ? Any guides, links would be very helpful. My use of dvd shrink has been pretty streightforward so far.. just open dvd --- and then backup. Are there any advanced features that may help me ?
Any other software that will do what I am looking for .. with point and click ease ?
You can run it through DVD Shrink twice although the video quality won't be very good. 1st pass run it through and save it to a hdd folder compressing it as much as possible then load that folder into shrink again.
Aah.. I gettit.. I'll try that...
But is that the ONLY solution ?
Any more addicts/seniors come up with an alternative ?
Come onnnn... this is AFTERDAWN.. :D
dvd-rb with CCE encoder or hc encoder will most likely handle it but you said with point and click ease. Dvd-rb is easy to use once you get used to it but can be a little difficult for new users. Here's a link to the installer. http://dvd-rb.dvd2go.org/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=getit&lid=77
