HI!
i'm new and will stay a while!
can you help me unlock my Nokia 6010?

code 0519487fm20tx
the phones says made in mexico
the phones i guess was purchased in texas.
its a T MOBILE PHONE.
what do you type for (pw) just pw or is that short for something.
also where you see the plus sign do you actualy type the + sign?

Hi I need an unlock code for a Nokia 6010. It is a T-Mobile To Go Phone from Minnesota, USA.

First, this will only have a chance of working if you have a Nokia 6010, I believe. Second, I make no warranties that this will work at all. You do realize that while in scotland, you'll have to purchase a prepaid sim card in scotland in order for your phone to work there, I think.
To enter the code, first power off your phone and remove the sim card. Power it back on, and on the screen where it says "Insert Sim Card", type in the following code.
Use the * key to make either the p w or +
#pw+333 966 661 141 566+7#
Type this into the phone exactly as it is shown, except not the spaces. I have the spaces in there only so it's easier to not get the numbers mixed up as you type them in.
Please let me know if this code works, and if you figured out how to enter it. Thanks -Gully52

Also remember that with the Nokia 6010, and possibly other nokias, you only get 4 or 5 chances to enter a working unlock code. after that, it will not allow you to attempt an unlock. I believe the phone still functions normally on its home network after this has happened, just aren't able to unlock it any more.

Thankyou very much. It worked the first time, I made sure I had everything typed in right. The instructions worked out perfectly.
I know that I'll need a new simcard once I get to Scotland, however being able to use the phone saves me from having to buy another one that works with the new card.
it would have also cost me money to get the phone unlocked, but very nice people like you help out for free :)
thus saving poor college students money we never had to begain with.
