Time depends on a few things:

How fast your computer is (CPU/RAM)

Are you reading stright from the disc? If so try downloading DVD Decrypter and rip the DVD to your computer then run it threw DVD Shrink. It should pick up some time there.

Also make sure your IDE Channels for your DVD-ROM is in DMA mode and not PIO mode.

To check go to:

START/CONTROLPANEL/SYSTEM/HARDWARE TAB/DEVICE MANAGER/IDE CONTROLERS/ then check each IDE channel and make sure none of them are in PIO mode. If they are then try changing them to DMA mode. If it wont let you and keeps going back to PIO mode then uninstall the IDE Channel that is in PIO and restart computer and windows then will re-install the channel in DMA mode.

Like I said it depends on how fast your CPU is and how musch RAM you have. It only takes me 15 minutes to 40 minutes depending on the size of the movie to backup my disc. But I have a P4 3.2Ghz with 1 gig of RAM on my computer.

So find out how fast your CPU is and 368MB of RAM isnt much at all when it comes to recoding DVDs.

Encoding is CPU intensive. RAM does not play as an important role that you may think it does.
