Even though I've been using Shrink for close to a year now, every now and then I'm not sure which settings I should use for best results. I would appreciate some suggestions on a couple of movies here. BATMAN BEGINS: should I use "maxium smoothness" since there are alot of dark scenes and night time scenes? And KICKING AND SCREAMING: should I use "maximum sharpness" since it is brightly lit movie w/ alot of outdoor daytime scenes? I don't really want to have to shrink these movies a couple of times each to find out which is the better setting. Then again, would I really notice that much difference between using max smooth and max sharp on the same movie?

i did Batman Begins last night and movie-only i think left available comprresion ratio at 65% or something, so i did deep analysis first (i'm no expert in these settings in Shrink as i've only used them maybe twice before). However i've since watched the movie twice and the quality's more than good enough for me..

I did Batman Begins a few days ago and it worked as straight foward as u can get and i did the whole disc with all the goodies.

Just use DVD Decrypter first and then take it through DVD Shrink have either AnyDVD or DVD43 in the background.

And then take it either through DVD Decrypter in ISO mode and burn it.

Or

I personally use CloneDVD 2 and just go through the wizard and the rest was just waiting. and it works and looks fine :)

I leave all the settings on their deafults and it does it fine.

Batman begins: I used max sharpness
Kicking and screaming: I used max smoothness

Both main movie only,full screen.

I play around with both those settings and can't tell any difference except max sharpness shortens my time a little.

I watched batman on my backup pc with the 17 in lcd monitor and it looked sweet.Also started watching it again on my 32 in tv and beautiful picture,looks like my original.
