I am trying to copy my U2: Best of 1990 to 2000. And I go through the normal routine and have it analyze but the automatic compression will not make it go in the green. Why is that and how do i make it do it correctly? I have used DVD fab decrypter now to put it on my hard drive - what are some next steps I should try?

Unless DVD Shrink cannot handle the encryption, you should start with it.

Put disc into drive and select the big button that says Open Disc. Wait for quick analysis to finish. After the initial analysis is complete you should have the menu's, main movie, and special features and such in the left pane. In the right pane you should have the compression ratio, audio, and subpictures. On the right side untick any or all subpictures that you don't want, also untick all of the audio except the 5.1 track.

Now...on the left side highlight the Menu and go to the compression pull down on the right side/ come down and select custom ratio, and slide the bar all the way to the left.

Do the same with the special features and unreferences materials and you should see no more red.

Hit the big Backup button and select ISO and burn with DVDDecrypter and in about an hour you'll have a nice new shiny DVD.

Happy Burning!
