Hi all, I have dvdxcopy, when I try to copy a dvd movie I get an errer message,saying (errer reading source disk), any one know what I can do? this is the first time I've used this progam.

You might want to try you question over at the Xcopy forum

However, Xcopy cannot do newer encrypted movies. You might want to take a look at the free programs DVD Fab Decrypter and DVD Shrink to do these movies. Available at http://www.filepedia.com look under rippers. Of dl the 21 day trial version of AnyDVD available at http://www.slysoft.com and use this in the background it will break the encryption and Xcopy should then be able to do your movie.

DVDXCopy is crap. I'm sure almost everybody here have bought it or used it once before finding AD here. And I'm speaking from experience. Just give the bum DVDXCopy program because it's as useful to him as it's for you (sarcasim).

Arniebear has referenced the programs that will work much better than DVDXCopy. All the programs are FREE except for AnyDVD which is cheap compared to any computer programs out there.

Another advantage of using the referenced programs, most people here are experts and can provide you answers and advices.
