First off let me state that this is the 2nd DVD I've copied and the first I've had to compress, so I'm sure I just did something stupid.

I tried to copy a 7GB episodic DVD to a regular DVD with DVD Shrink (Choosing the burn with DVD Decrypter option) I removed the French language option. But when I play the DVD in my DVD player the audio is always the commentary, not the normal audio. Even when I choose to play it without the commentary.

Also, I'm not sure if this is related but when I tried to play the burned DVD on my PC I got a message saying that the region was incompatible.

Any ideas what I might have done wrong?

another note: when I play an episode that does not have a commentary option there is no sound at all.

What I am trying to do is make a full backup of a Looney Tunes DVD with all of the menus and features.

Usually 2ch audio is the director commentaries. AC3 5.1 Ch is the one you want. Even if you do not have a "5.1 Ch" player, it will automatically be down mixed to 2Ch.

So go back and make sure you leave AC3-5.1Ch audio stream.

thanks for the reply. This is probably a dumb question, but should that be the only one checked? Is there a way I can include both the regular audio and the commentary option?

The easiest way to decide which audio streams you want, is to preview the title in DVD Shrink preview window, while it is playing right click in the preview window and then left click on "Audio", then choose which audio stream you want to hear. Then make a decision based on that method.
