My bitch:
Nero is screwed up, I love the software to death (and maybe I killed it!) but its being a real pain the royal keester. I used to re-code TV shows to MP4 so I could watch them but last night I did one and the sound didn't work. I tired it again with a different video and still no sound.
So, I updated Nero today and now I can't even select which file to Recode (I rebooted then it didn't work so I cold booted and still no luck.) Oh well hopefully I will get my problem fixed soon.

Yes, the file is XviD. I didn't think Nero could handle XviDs but all I have used in the past was Nero for my encoding to MP4 and it worked.
I have a different program, Videora iPod Converter, that works but its quality is no where near what Nero puts out. I could convert it from XviD to DVD and then use CloneDVD mobile but I don't feel like it as it would degrade the quality even more.

Pop smith, i didnt get one with the videora ipod converter quality either. However, i found that a program called apollo video converter (or something) was quite good.
