Ok I used DVD Fab to decrypt XXX and saved it to a folder on my Desktop; XXX. Now I opened DVD shrink, found the files and compressed it thru DVD Shrink. Now where do I go from here?

Make a second XXX2 folder and then save to here? Any advice greatly appreciated.

If you have compressed your files then burn it to your media using your preferred burning program.

@littlegun

U can either use DVD Decrypter or CloneDVD to burn the whole thing to disc.

Read the following guides they will tell u how its done.

DVD Decrypter
http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/small_dvd_2_dvdr.cfm

CloneDVD 2
http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/full_dvd_to_dvdr_with_clo...

These 2 programs will do the job fine :)

Also read the 2 guides in my sig.

Keep me posted...

I'm sorry maybe I should have explained beter. I used DVD Fab to decrypt the disc then brought up DVD Shrink. I located the files and then had DVD Shrink compress it (you know where you kinda watch the DVD in fast forward mode). It finished that and now where do I back it up? To the original folder made by DVDFab or do I need to now create a new folder for the compressed version/ I am not yet at the burning stage yet.

I have used DVD Shrink hundreds of times but never used DVD Fab with DVD Shrink...

Hope this helps...thanks in advance.

I see you just completed the analysation, you can now either backup to your hardisk to a seperate folder or just make and iso and burn with decrypter or Nero. Since you say you used Shrink many times just proceed to encode as usual.

Check out the step by step guide for DVDFab at bbmayo's web site. Link located in my signature. This will explain it all and even uses pictures.

"just make and iso and burn with decrypter or Nero"

So are you saying that I do not need to redownload this to another folder...that I can burn directly?

How do I make an ISO and burn with Nero?

Unfortunately I am limited in space and cannot download a 4 gb movie to my drive after decrypting the original 8 gb...

Thanks in advance...

In Shrink, once you click the backup button a screen pops up and you can check what program you want to burn with, be it Nero or ISO mode and burn with decrypter. Put a blank disc into the DVD-RW and it should analyze, compress (encode), and automatically burn the disc when the encoding is completed.

Thats how mine works.

How much space do you have on your HD. Usually you need at least 8 to 12 gigs free.

After editing the movie to your liking and depressing the backup button a screen will pop up like so.

just select the option as checked in the pic.

LOCOENG

Only by a second or two...LOL...and that's probably cause you were inserting the pictures, which look great. Which program are you using?
Is it easy to insert them or do you have to have an image host?

Keep up the good work though, I am learning so much from you. :-]
