Does anyone have any idaes on how I can delete the extras and just keep the main menu and feature movie? I click on re-author and just chose the feature film and just my sound and subtitles. Problem is, when I play the movie the subtitles automatically are on and I have to turn them off on my remote. But when thers a scene with someome speaking a diffrent language, the subtitles wont come on unless I hit the subtitle button on my remote. The only way to solve this is to compress the entire disc with menu, feature film and extras which takes up alot of space. As much as I like DTS, I normally will remove it as I lose about 10 percent compression.

What are your feelings about DTS?? And is there a way to delete the extra features option or am I just stuck with it??

I personally remove all audio except AC3 5.1. I also remove all subtitles, and haven't had any probs yet ( knock on wood ).

You can also apply maximum compression in full backup mode, to everything but the main title. This leaves the compression as low as possible on the movie which is really what you want.

No offense but it seems that you whine alot, "Oh no i have to press ONE BUTTON to turn it off", did you really expect a DVD to know when to automatically turn on subs when you need it? You turn subs off then it's going to be off until you turn it back on.

If you have a system good enough to use DTS then I'd just turn everything but DTS off, but if you are just using standard speakers that come w/ the TV then there isn't really a point in having DTS. Unless you have some really good TV that has it on the standard, stock speakers.

All you need is clonedvd2. It helps you to keep the movie with menu excluding all extra.
