hi i was wondering is there anyway to copy dvd faster by bypassing the 2nd analyising stage. When i insert the dvd and open it with dvd shrink it will automatically analyse it then when i hit the backup button it again analysises it then encodes then copies it. when it is analysing the 2nd time it takes a lot longer than the first time about 20 min.

i have a 8x dvd burner and it takes me about 20 minutes to decrypt a movie using dvd decryptor then it takes about aanother 30 min to analyse the file with DVD Shrink then after that it has to encode the movie which takes about 2 hrs then it then finally burns it which takes about 10 min. the entire process takes me about 3-4 hrs per dvd is there anyway i can speed this up or does it usually take that long?

It sounds like you have the Deep Analysis option enabled. If you want to take a risk on the quality of your final product, you can disable it like so:



Just unselect it and the second, longer analysis will not take place. The whole process should take you about 40min. to an hour.

I run shrink without the deep analysis and my dvd's come out fine, i cant tell the difference. This will cut your compression time in half. Use good media and u should have no probs.
