The way I did it was using DVDFABDECRYPTER and VOBBLANKER. Works like a charm.
1st.Decrypt with Fab decrypter.
2nd.Open files with Vobblanker and create A destination for your new project.Ex. Madagascar (folder name)
3rd.Let Vobblanker do it's thing then once it is complete open up Shrink and the Madagascar folder and presto it will begin to analyze perfectly.
Good Luck

Just out of curiosity why do you use Vobblanker in this process?
Thanks

It blankets the copy protection so the movie will easily be ripped and burned.

Also newer movies from Sony and Dreamworks are using a new copy protection process which makes it impossible to rip and burn their newer movies but VOBBLANKER kills off their attempts at this.

OK you ripped the movie to your HD using DVDFab Decrypter right?
There is no need for Vobblanker after that because DVDFab Decrypter has already got rid of the encryption and region of the DVD. Try skipping step 2 of your process and go right to Shrink after DVDFab Decrypter and you will see that you are doing an extra step for nothing and in the process degrading the quality of the video (the more times you encode the video the more you will degrade the quality) There really is no need for Vobblanker doing this process.
Cheers

Oh yeah and by the way Vobblanker has no encryption breaking capabilities. It is a great proggy if used correctly, but I am afraid what you are saying it is doing is incorrect. DVDFab Decrypter was what got this process done not Vobblanker. Again Vobblanker has no decryption capabilities if it did then you wouldn't have needed to use DVDFab Decrypter in the first place. Trust me just skip your step 2 and you will see what I am talking about.

If you just use DVDFabdecrypter on Madagascar it will decrypt just fine but when it comes time to shrink with DVDshrink it will give you errors and won't even let you open up the file which is why I recommended VOBblanker.I know it doesn't have any encryption capabilities but it works in that it runs through the VOB files and cleans them out. This method works with the latest tough movies.

FYI:
DVDFab has just been updated to handle Madagascar...
(11/18/2005) Version 2.9.5.8 Updated!
Change: Added support for a new protection as found on "Madagascar" (US).
It's not a Sony movie, but the protection is almost same with Sony ARccOS.
"ARccOS? is the first and only available digital and dynamic DVD-Video copy control which effectively prevents unauthorized DVD copying on PC. ?Our customers are pleased to finally have found a copy control solution for DVD-Video that protects their content successfully."
HAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!

hi, i complete the backup of madagascar by this way:
Open Any DVD 5.3.2.1 with CD in the drive and let open background
Open VOB Blanker 2.0.0.2 and select input folder as your drive with cd. to select output folder, create a file on your hard disk then select process directly in the file you create.
After process terminate put a new DVD in your drive and execute DVD Shrink 3.2 you have just to select the file on your hard drive.
work perfectly

I used both FabDecrypter and DVD Decrytpter to rip Madagadcar. When I went to use Shrink it mentioned a VOB problem. I then use VOB Blanker. I set the input to the file I had ripped with Fab. I next set Blanker to Auto setting and pressed Process. Remember to save the output to a MADAGASCAR folder. I then used Shrink and DVD Decrypt. Works great!

Ok,I used DVDfab decrypter and dvdshrink to backup Madagascar, but now dvdshrink says it doesn't have enough memory,error,...
And then the encryption asks to close.
Anybody knows how to solve this problem?

When you have DVDFab on the screen, there will be a Question mark on it's top right corner next to what looks like a snowflake.Click on the question mark and it will provide you with a link to DVDIdle.COM.Once there you can download the newest updates.

It is true that both DVD Decrypter and DVDFab Decrypter can rip MADAGASCAR into the hard drive easily. However, when "encoding" using either DVD Shrink or Nero Recode 2, it will fail 100% due to its RipGuard protection by DreamWorks that kills all of your CPU memory. Therefore, DVD Shrink and Nero Recode will have an error of "Failure! out of memory and can not continue".
Again, DVDFab Decrypter did not completely decrypted/cracked all of MADAGASCAR's protections in this case. Trust me, I've tested it and like many of newbies, I've got a "out of memory" error when encoding with Nero Recode 2 (same thing with DVD Shrink).
To solve this problem, you'll either need the latest from AnyDVD or you'll need to have VobBlanker to "blank out" - meaning take out the protections and its junks.
Madagascar is not Sony's ARccOS, it's RipGuard Protection by Dreamworks. Here is what works for me backing up MADAGASCAR.
01) Rip the movie using DVD Decrypter via File Mode (save log for future reference if you're going the PSL route)
1.1) Rip the movie using DVDFab Decrypter into hard drive
02) open up PgcEdit, browse and load your ripped VIDEO_TS folder from DVD Decrypter
3) click on Plugins, PSL2 [ARccOS], Find Protected Titles
4) open up VobBlanker, browse to your "input = source" and "output = destination"
5) click/highlight VTS_8_VOB and highlight PGC or TTN entry 2 - 5 then Blank them and click on PROCESS.
That's it... sit back, relax and wait until it's done. Once VobBlanker finished, you can encode/compress it with DVD Shrink or Nero Recode 2 and burn that baby (MADAGASCAR) at your desire burning engine.
I guarantee you'll have a fully working disc. Enjoyed it and happy burning..!!
