Hi,

How can you overcome this error msg fr dvd shrink:

DVD Shrink encountered an error and cannot continue.

Invalid data in file "F:\MADAGASCAR\VIDEO_TS\VTS_08_1.VOB"

After it has been successfully decrypted with DVD Decrypter.

Pls help.

Rip in ISO mode not File mode.

You can also try using VobBlanker to blank PGC 2, 3, 4, & 5 of VTS_08.

Have recently completed backup of Madagascar.

Method used:

Rip with DVD Decrpyter using ISO Read mode

Open the resulting Disk Image in DVD Shrink

Let Shrink analyse the movie

Use Re-author to do main movie only - get rid of all unecessary languages/audio streams etc.

Burn the movie using Nero or similar - easy.

i did Madagascar effortlessly last night with DVDFab Decrypter 2.9.6.0 (free) then Shrunk with DVD Shrink as normal. what i did do was use my dvd-rom/cd-write combo drive (like io do for most of my ripping); didn't try to rip it on any of my dvd burners as i'd done the movie already but it's always nice to have a couple of optical drives..as if a movie won't play ball on one drive you always have a choice of drives to use..
