i got a huge problem guys shrink is taking about 20 or 30 or more hours to shink the movie i already watch if its in pio mode but its not i backed up my original of madagascar with no problem in iso mode but the rest of my movies are giving me a big headache.please send me some guides or something pleaseeeeee, im going nutttsss thanks.

It could be your HD is too full and fraged, so get rid of somethings and defrag you HD. Spy/mal/ad ware can slow you down too, I reccommend Ad-Aware as a remover. And just so we're clear it this thing you that tells you if you have your DMA on:



Also, are you multi-tasking while you burn?

no im not multitask. and i got both on dma mode primary and secundary ide channels i also got my antivirus and my spyware doctor off just in case and my hdd is not full also i got about 19 gb and every time i backup my movies i delete everything from the folder of the movie to the iso file. PLEASE HELP ME do i need a adware remover?

Do you have the AEC options on? Those will increase your time considerably.

i have a p4 2.8 512 ram xp pro iomagic 8x dvd burner but i think i solved my problem .
when i encode the movie in shrink there is a tab called "Opcions" after you press backup and and one of the box shuold be unthick
(run backup in low priority mode.) and that was my problem.
