I get this error once in a while, and since I have recently found this website, maybe one of you could provide a fix or an alternative.
This is the error message that appears... (What is the trick to pasting a screenshot?) ...anyway, the error says;

"DVD Shrink has encountered an error and can not continue
Copy Protection Error
The Media in the Drive may have Changed"

I was reading another thread of someone else's Shrink error, but it wasn't the same. Someone there suggested disabling Nero for burning stating that there may be conflicts. I tried what they suggested, but made no difference.

Oh, and by the way, the error message says "The Media in the Drive may have Changed", but just for the record, I didn't change anything in any of the drives.

Is there anything to fix this, or should I be using a different Program?

I am using DVD Shrink version 3.2.0.15 with Nero version6.3.0.3
Benq DVD burner DW 1620 with Benq DVD ROM and 512 RAM

Thanks,
JBurden

You could try using "css dvd region free" it will block all copy protections, but shrink could not accept it but you should try it.

Have you tried running AnyDVD in the background yet?? You get a great 21 day trial which has convinced me to purchase after trial ends.....Then use shrink
