I'm not understanding this at all, no matter what I do, I'm always uploading at a very very high speed, 125 and over......but my dl speed is horribly slow, usually around 6-10, I tried slowing my upload speed to 11, to 25, to 50, nothing improves my dl speed...I have no Low ID problems either... usually I can only download from like 2 ppl at a time, and the rest are always waiting, and the ppl that I'm downloading from only seem to send at 3.5-6.5 tops.....why does it take soooo long for me to dl? but I can upload fine...
A friend of mine told me to just upload a lot of files, and then I would be able to dl much faster, but I've been uploading for 2 days straight now at 100 and over, but my dl speed has not improved at all, plz help!

You must understand that emule runs off queues so you will be on queue for a long time before downloads will start, especially on rare or very popular files! One neat little trick is to click shared files and find the file you are downloading (usually it appears after about 20 megs are downloaded of it) and right click and change its priority to release.

eMule rewards uploaders so yes uploading as much as you can will get you on the client lists of thousands of people eventually and will give you priority when downloading off them. You cant expect to just jump on emule and have lightning fast speed, you gotta build it up but its well well worth it!
